My tree for a new home! 新居のためのマイ・ツリー

The planters you see there have a very special meaning! These
are trees taken from the woods near the future dwellings of
Ohsawa people. They are to be fostered by their owners and in
3 years, when they have grown big, they will move together with
their owners to a permanent home! Students from Kobe,
Yokohama, Tohoku etc. have helped.

この鉢植、とっても特別な意味があるんです。
大沢地区の人々の未来の住宅地域となる高台から採取した苗木なんです。
小原木中学校住宅のそれぞれの家庭で大切に育てられ、
三年後この木々が大きく育った頃、住民と共に高台の安住の地に戻るんです。
神戸大学、横浜市立大学、東北芸術工科大学、武庫川女子大学のみなさんが、
みらいの樹〜苗木を育てるプロジェクト〜
を企画して下さいました。

Everyone seems tired from the hard work of gathering and
planting the trees!
みなさん重労働でお疲れの様子。
